Selection tips for Curved Jaw coupling

① Allowable rated torque - the allowable value of torque that the coupling bears during actual use;

② Allowable maximum torque - the maximum critical value of damage during use of the coupling;

③ Allowable maximum speed - the motor speed must be within this range when selecting the model;

④ Allowable eccentricity - the allowable value of parallel deviation of the two axes;

⑤ Allowable deflection angle - the allowable value of the mutual angle formed between the two axes;

⑥ Allowable axial deviation - the allowable displacement value of the axial movement of the two axes

 

Jaw coupling has a simple structure, no lubrication required, easy maintenance, easy inspection, maintenance-free, and can run continuously for a long time. The high-strength polyurethane elastic element is wear-resistant and oil-resistant, has a large load-bearing capacity, a long service life, and is safe and reliable. It works stably and reliably, and has good vibration reduction, buffering and electrical insulation properties. It has large axial, radial and angular compensation capabilities. It has a simple structure, small radial size, light weight, and small moment of inertia, and is suitable for medium and high speed occasions.

 

Jaw couplings are widely used in CNC machine tools, CNC lathes, machining centers, engraving machines, CNC milling machines, computer gongs, metallurgical machinery, mining machinery, petroleum machinery, chemical machinery, lifting machinery, transportation machinery, light industrial machinery, textile machinery, water pumps, fans, etc.

 

1. Wipe the dust and dirt on the surface of the installation shaft, and apply a thin layer of engine oil or lubricant.

2. Clean the inner hole of the coupling and apply engine oil or lubricant.

3. Insert the coupling into the installation shaft; if the hole diameter is tight, be careful not to hit it with a hammer or hard metal.

4. After positioning, first tighten the screws gently in the diagonal direction with a torque wrench (1/4 of the specified tightening torque)

5. Increase the force (1/2 of the specified tightening torque) and repeat step 4.

6. Tighten and fix according to the specified tightening torque.

7. Finally, tighten the fixing screws in the circumferential direction in sequence.

8. When disassembling, please proceed when the device is completely stopped; loosen the locking screws in sequence.
